This is amazing! I never knew that there was even a missing painting from Leonardo. The fact that this gentleman has spent most of his life trying to prove this just goes to show how confident he is in such a finding. How crazy would it be if it really did lie just a few inches behind this priceless painting? And the words painted on the flag "cerca trova," meaning "seek, and you shall find," just may be a small hint as too what lies beneath that painting. It's also incredible that the gentleman has such vast technological efforts in trying to find this lost painting. Such paintings are so delicate and priceless that I know my with my clumsiness, i wouldn't dare get close to one!
How come there isn't any comments heard about Leonardo's missing painting? I wasn't aware that Leonardo was also an inventor! That's really cool. I like Leonardo's painting because they have dimension and were realistic.
