Scared of Technology?

It seems that whenever there is some type of scientific OR technological breakthrough society either embraces it OR rejects it. I am still debating whether High Technology is being received by our society and NOT just accepted as a way of life for us. One such area is that of High Tech and the Fine Arts. The Applied Arts:

  • Illustration,
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior/Fashion Design
have welcomed the use of computers, digital cameras, graphic tablets and vector-based drawing programs and well as photo-maniplulation software.

Check out this video on how to use a vector-based drawing program:

I like the idea of someday being able to learn a vector-based template such as illustrator. Without the pixels, it will make it much easier to blow up certain art and work more closer on certain parts rather than magnifying on photoshop and getting all the boxey pixels. Also, I am interested on learning more about what he was using when he had that pointer and was able to draw right on the screen.
